Michele Blood
Director, Sales & Marketing
Michele Blood joined Bison Metals Technologies as Sales Manager in September 2020, and was promoted to her current role as Director, Sales & Marketing in September 2021. Ms. Blood oversees sales in developing & implementing strategies for organizational profitable growth, along with building initiatives in establishing corporate identity, marketing plans and product launches. Included in her role at BMT, Michele oversees day-to-day customer service activities to ensure BMT exceeds customer expectations.
Prior to joining Bison Metals, Ms. Blood held various positions in a thirty-six-year span with Reading Tube/Cambridge-Lee Industries, a copper tube manufacturer, located in Reading, Pennsylvania, from Distribution/Production Scheduler, Sales Analyst to Sales & Service Manager for the Plumbing, Industrial Tubing, and Lineset Sales markets.
Michele holds an associate degree in Business Administration from the Smeal College of Business at Pennsylvania State University along with certification in Production Management.
Ms. Blood is an advisory board member of the Berks College of The Pennsylvania State University and ex-officio as past president of The Pennsylvania State University Berks Alumni Society. She is active in her community as a member of The Junior League of Reading, PA., Inc. and has volunteered in the past with John Paul II Center for Special Learning, Opportunity House, PSAA Alumni Council, and Berks TALKLINE. Within the business industry Michele is a member of Women in HVAC and was co-chair in chartering a chapter of Women in Manufacturing (WiM) in Eastern Pennsylvania in 2017-2019.
Numerous awards have been bestowed to Ms. Blood for her non-profit and community work, including the 2000 Founder’s and 1996 Make a Difference Award from The Junior League of Reading, PA., Inc., and the 2016 Alumni Achievement Award, 2000 Alumni of the Year, and 1997 Recent Alumni Associate from Pennsylvania State University Berks Campus.
Ms. Blood lives in Cumru Township, Pennsylvania. She enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephew, reading, watching her favorite Philadelphia sports teams, and traveling to the Delaware Beaches.
