Director, Continuous Extrusion Technology

Mark R Denison started at Bison Metals Technologies in July of 2021 as the Director, Continuous Extrusion Technology.  Mr. Denison oversees the commissioning and operation of a unique extrusion process for producing seamless copper tubing along with assisting with prototype and product development at BMT.  

In previous employment, Mark has years of experience in companies that serviced the Automotive, Aerospace, Government, Construction and White Goods businesses, along with working with different materials, such as Copper, Aluminum, Zinc and Metal Matrix Composites.  

In both plant management and support functions, Denison has experience with Remelting, Casting, Metal Heat Treatment, Extrusion, Drawing, Forging, Rolling, Cutting and Fabrication.  He also has over 20 years of experience in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) from the state of Alabama.  Before and during college he was a member of the United States Navy.

Mark is married to his wife, Shelia since 1982, and has three children and five grandchildren.  When he is away from work, he enjoys many outdoor activities and spending time with the grandchildren.
