Plant Operations Manager

As Plant Operations Manager for Bison Metals Technologies, Elliot Shuler oversees the activities of operational team of 10+ direct and 180+ indirect employees in the manufacturing of copper tubing, mill maintenance, along with optimizing production processes by eliminating waste and other constraints to improve work efficiency to achieve set manufacturing targets. Mr. Shuler is also tasked with managing the activities of production personnel to ensure efficient and safe work operations while ensuring timely deliveries in serving Bison Metals customer’s requirements.
Before joining Bison Metals in January 2024, Elliot held various roles at this plant facility with Wolverine Tube. His experience on the operational floor as a block operator, millwright and special projects helped him move onto manufacturing educational learning in supervising the advanced manufacturing program at Gordon Copper Technology Center along with the Director of Adults trades program for Canadian Valley Technology Center.
Mr. Shuler graduated from Seminole State College with an Associate of Science in Engineering/Chemistry, Cum Laude from St. Gregory’s University with a Bachelor of Science and master of leadership from East Central University. He is also a 2021-2022 honor graduate of Leadership Shawnee.
Elliot has been an advisory board member for Canadian Valley Technology Center, Gordon Copper Technology Center, Central Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance, and Mid America Industrial Park along with being a member of Shawnee Forward and Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance.
Home for Elliot and his wife Greta is Shawnee, OK. Outside of his work life, Elliot spends time with his son Lucas and daughter Kyleigh and his family rescue dogs.
