Vice President, Finance

As Vice President of Finance for Bison Metals Technologies, Glen oversees the financial initiatives and strategy, funding and investments while developing directives in reducing expenditure and identifying investment opportunities.  Mr. Ross managesAccounting, Human Resources, EHS, and IT.  Within those units lie critical business functions including (however not limited to) payroll, financial reporting, accounts receivables and payable, capital structure, and overall health & safety of Bison Metals employees, public, and surroundings.

Prior to being promoted in December 2020, Glen was Controller of Bison Metals.  Glen brings to Bison Metals over two decades of financial and management experience in private and public sectors.  Preceding his employment at BMT, Mr. Ross served as Senior Director for Florida Blue, Director of Finance and Director of Producer Operations for United Heath Group, Controller for Provell, Inc., and Trust Operations Manager for Wachovia. Glen also managed his own business as a Financial and Operational Consultant to help organizations define forecasting, business analytics, and financial and operational plans.

Mr. Ross holds a Master Degree in Business Administration from Argosy University, concentration International Business and Corporate Sustainability along with a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from Minnesota State University.

Glen has been a commissioner of the Economic Development Authority and has helped with community service as a volunteer for Habitat, YMCA, Clara White Mission, along in his service as stewardship and elder for his membership church.

Recently, Glen completed a 200+ motorcycle ride solo in exploring the heartland of the USA.  When he’s not busy taking in the natural beauty of this country or massive financial deadlines, he can be found spending time with his wife, children, and grandchild.
